Chillin’ with Spike.

I received an invite from LivingSocial for an exclusive holiday party in DC hosted by Chef Spike Mendelsohn of Top Chef Fame. I invited three of my friends to come along. The price included tickets for gourmet burgers, fries, and yummy booze-infused shakes with Baileys and peppermint schnapps. There was a DJ who looked like a member of a ‘80s hair band playing festive tunes and a photo area where you could select silly holiday props, snap pics, and upload them to Facebook. Spike was really cool; he mingled with the crowd the entire time. Before exiting the party, we each received a parting gift of four limited-edition Good Stuff Eatery pint glasses. Despite long lines at the food/drink stations, we all had fun. It was a great way to kick off the holidays.
