In the words of Joey from FRIENDS, ’London Baby!’ I had such an incredible experience working in Vancouver for the Winter Paralympics that I applied to work in London for the Summer Olympics. I am VERY excited to reveal that today (Thursday, October 20, 2011) at 12:52 p.m. I received an offer letter! I was assigned to the International Broadcast Centre in the north-west corner of Olympic Park. There was a lot of competition — more than 250,000 people applied worldwide. I leave towards the end of July and will be in London for about three weeks. I can’t wait to share my journey with you!
hey, found your blog as i was searching for other London 2012 Games Makers’, i’m also volunteering in the NOC Services team, working in the Olympic village, near the IBC, so i hope we meet up and that you get all the logistics sorted!! it’s my first Olympics So i am very excited!
